The first cruise

Sail Date: April 01, 2012

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

A big ship with a lot of activities at all time. The middle swimming pool at the top is a little small, but it does have 3 pools, one for adult only, one for children, and one for general public. We had a room at deck 7 with ocean view. The window is big enough, and the room clean enough. The food at dinning room and the buffet was good, and the desert was the best we had ever tasted. We watched all the shows at night. 3 of them were very good, the other 2 was so so.

Pros: The food (desert)

Cons: nothing

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Children's Programs
There are activities for kids all day long separated to the morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. We felt safe to leave our 8 year old with the kids group for 2 sessions. The only draw back is that you will have to pick up your kid in between the sessions.
