Great Ship

Sail Date: August 01, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Just completed a Southern Caribbean cruise on this ship. The crew are very friendly and the captain knows how to run a happy ship. Plenty of on-board activities for most people and the thermal spa is a nice treat for couples. The solarium allows you to sun-bathe in an air-conditioned environment (which is great for cruising at this time of year).

Pros: Staff, Ship's Layout, Food

Cons: Some temporary issues with plumbing on our sailing

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
I dropped the rating for this because we had problems with plumbing (sewage smell on lower decks - below 6 - on a couple of days), but they seemed to fix this.
Food and Dining
excellent food - we ate at Chops Grill on one night - window table watching the sun set over the ocean - fabulous food and service.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony suite facing the stern on deck 10. Great balcony with room to sun-bathe. The only noise we heard from the Windjammer on the floor above was at 6.00am when the crew reset the tables.
