Review summary
We scheduled our trip on the Serenade of the Seas about 1 year in advance, and we chose the Southern Caribbean for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a great choice, the ports were absolutely breathtaking. We loved the layout of the ship, everything was pretty easy to find. And If you did get stuck there were ship maps outside every elevator or on the elevator by floors. We really enjoyed the Fitness Center there was so much to choose from including classes similar to our workouts at home. The Spa was so relaxing, if you have never had a massage well now would be the time to try it. They offer specials onboard that you can't resist. Our outside stateroom was well equipped with plenty of storage and room under the beds for your empty luggage. The bathrooms were cozy with lots of lighting and a really nice adjustable shower head ( I am short my hubbby is tall). Our staterooom was always clean everytime we left and came back. The food was fabulous and so many choices, Breakfast was so delicious I loved their Bran muffins and the made to order omelets were sooo good. There was a huge selection of every kind of breakfast food from hot to cold that it made it hard to decide what to eat. The five ports of call were so breathtaking and beautiful I really didn't want to leave any of them. I was so happy to feel comfortable getting back on the ship with their state of the art security checks. We really enjoyed the group seating and met some really nice people from all over the world. Every night there was a show in the Theatre from comedy to broadway shows we looked forward to it and had some great laughs with the cruise director. There is so much to do on this ship you could never get bored, literally every hour there is something going on somewhere on the ship. Oh and the rock wall was so fun you need to try that on the day at sea it was super fun and a great challenge. We would definately sale this itinerary again!Ship experiences
