A Cruise to Paradise

Sail Date: May 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We had a streamline process from the airport to the ship. Our cabin was ready when we arrived.
The ship was always clean and the crew was very friendly and helpful. All of our excursions went well, except St Martin, which was a small problem the temps were near 90 and there was no A/C on our bus. Also there was some confusion about the water taxi to town it was not made clear. We thought is was included in the price of our tickets. Most of our trips were highlights of the Islands.
This was a perfect time to go. Not many kids running around.
We ate in the dining room most evenings and had a table with people our age so there were things in common to talk about.
We are members of Crown and anchor so we were able to use the priorty departure area, which was very nice.

Pros: The Serenade of the Seas was very clean, the crew friendly and the food great.

Cons: A mechanical problem in the cabin, The Buffet food lacks variety.

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!

This was our first time booking a balcony and we loved it. Our cabin attendant was great.
