The ship was nice, but no comparison to our last year's trip on Adventure of the Seas. Too small. Missed the large promenade area on Adventure. Things like Quest way too packed for the smaller room size. The ship was clean and for the most part well cared for, but you could see wear areas that we have never seen before on other ships. We were tucked into a smaller dining room off of the main Reflections dining room and felt like afterthoughts. All the announcements, fanfare, parades at dinners occurred in the main dining room and we got a last ditch effort to make it in ours before the music ended. It was an ok ship, but don't want to do less than Adventure size again. 12 cruises and looking for something different next time. May try Celebrity, Princess, or go back to trying Carnival again.

Pros: 5 ports = busy, busy, busy

Cons: uncomfortable bed and pillows, Windjammer food mediocre at best, not enough activities between major ones at night and sea day, small areas for big groups

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? No.
