We just (4/25/10) returned from Royal Caribbean Cruiseline's "Serenade of the Seas" southern Caribbean cruise. The ship was beautiful, immaculate, and very well organized. The crew, from the Captain to our waiters, were great. Our balcony cabin was great, beautiful and spacious. The ship is BIG, I don't know how long it takes 'most people' to find their way around a ship but this one has so much to offer we never really learned where everything was! Always an adventure, and sooo much fun!

Food and Dining

We had the 6pm dinner seating with 3 other couples. Debated taking this early-dinner seating but for the most part it worked out great for us. I missed one dinner but (oops) that St. Kitts catamaran excursion put me to bed early! Food & services on this ship, whether you are dining in the dining room or in any of the other restaurants, were great. Late at night, it's not easy so easy to 'find' food...there IS food out there, but you have to walk around and find it lol.

Entertainment

Didn't go to but 2 shows on our 7 night cruise, too busy during the day (and in the casino at night haha) but the two shows we made it to were very entertaining.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward and his crew were great. As for Dining staff, our waiter and the assistant waiter did a great job and were very deserving of their tips.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great ship, really nice layout, decor and artwork totally beautiful, very clean and easy to find your way around. Tip: Figure out which 'way' the ship is going and it will help you to know which 'way' to go on all the decks lol.

Cabin / Stateroom

Highly recommend everyone get a balcony cabin. Ours was on the 9th deck, high-up, on the very back of the portside...wonderful, very quiet. Never imagined we would like a cabin in the 'back' of any ship but from now on we will try for one there. While yes it is a long walk (sometimes) to/from your cabin, there's not a lot of traffic going past your cabin day & night which made for a very peaceful 'spot' to be. Always thought I would prefer the middle of the ship but after talking to others that were in the middle, and the noise they heard over and under their cabins, GO FOR THE rear!

Pros: Loved how everything was more than we expected!

Cons: That it came to an end.

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!
