CRUISE TO ALASKA

Sail Date: July 30, 2006

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

THIS WAS OUR 4TH TIME WE HAD TAKEN A CRUISE. THE FIRST TIME WE WENT WE CARNIVAL, AND ALSO THE THIRD TIME THE ATHMOSPHERE WAS A LOT MORE ENJOYABLE, THE CRUISE DIRECTORS WERE FENOMENAL AN AWSOME EXPERIENCE, THIS TIME WE WENT WITH FIVE OTHER COUPLES, BUT IT NEEDED MORE MUSIC DURING THE DAY, ALSO MORE ACTIVITIES, THE ONES THEY HAD SOME WERE BORING. ALSO THE SHOWS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER BY BRINGING MORE POPULAR PERFORMERS ON THE SHIP. BATHROOM ON THE ROOM SPECIALY THE SHOWER WERE WAY TOO SMALL. NICE SHIP BUT NOT TO IMPRESS OVERALL. THE SERVICE IN THE DINNING ROOM WAS EXCELLENT BUT AGAIN WE ONLY HEARD MUSIC WHEN WE WALK IN, AND WHEN STAFF SANG.

Pros: GOING UP ON GLACIER

Cons: THE DRINKS ON THE BUFFETS, ONLY WATER,LEMONADE ICE TEA AND COFFEE TO DRINK, ALSO THE MAIN DINNING ROOM SHOULD HAVE MORE MUSIC ALL THE TIME. WE HAD TOO PAY EXTRA TO DELIVER OUR LUGGAGE FROM THE SHIP TO THE AIRPORT.

WE ENJOY THE OLD DISTRICT AND SAW TONS OF SALMON AT THE END OF THE RIVER.
Don't Miss: WATCH THE SALMON
Juneau, Alaska
WE DIDNT SPEND ENOUGH TIME HERE, TOO BAD, WE ATE AT A RESTAURANT IN SOME HOTEL AND HAD THE BEST HALIBUT FISH AND CHIPS EVER.
Don't Miss: THE GLACIER
Skagway, Alaska
WE FLEW IN THE HELICOPTER TO THE GLACIER AND ALSO TOOK THE TRAIN RIDE
