Just a fine cruise ship

Sail Date: September 05, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The service is good but the bed is not comfortable. I would not book my room in Plaza deck, you can hear the water wave "banging" the ship. The food are the same everyday. The international ding room is not a big deal! It looks like that the ship cruise does everything to entice you to buy thier products, from the beauty salon, to jewelries. Princess cruise is meant for adult over 50's. I don't see a lot of young adults. They should at least made a big party of the last night, it would have been nice if there was a farewell party just the other ship cruise that I had. The captain only meet with those preferred customer like those frequent Princess customers but for those first time princess customer, he did not care. It would have been nice if they had a one night that all the passengers get to see who is the captain. I had that expereinced in another ship cruise and it was great. Princess cruise discriminate the first time passengers. On the first day of ship cruise. Princess should provide a staff for each floor to re-direct which way is their room. There were so many people wondering around cannot locate their room which floor they are. It's confusing because they can't figure out which way is the Promenade and Plaza deck. We asked once staff which floor is P2... and he said it's up in 7th floor, that's a promenade deck it turned out that P stand for Plaza deck. There should be one staff for each of the elavator in the fllloor re-directing and welcoming people. There should also be a welcome party on the first day.

Pros: service

Cons: Not a lot of entertainment
