If the weather is good, this port can be great to visit but if not, don't bother.

Our dogsledding experience was great fun. Although it was not on snow, due to the weather, it was a wild ride and very informative. The dogs are beautiful, the puppies can be lifted and hugged and the staff is friendly and helpful
Don't Miss: Dogsledding!

There is no question that the helicopter ride over the glaciers is the most spectacular excursion to take in Juneau. The landscape is breathtaking and the ride is like being in an IMAX theatre. After landing on the tallest gloacier in Juneau and walking around, it's hard to imagine following that experience with another special excursion. It was a once in a lifetime ride.
Don't Miss: The helicopter ride through glaciers

The seaplane adventure was brilliant. We flew over parks, waterfalls, and glaciers and landed on the water with seals popping up around us in the sea. The we took off again and headed back on a different route. The town if lovely - great fun to walk around and vist the shops.
Don't Miss: For us, the seaplane adventure

Pros: Landing by helicopter on top of a glacier

Cons: Too many uncontrolled children
