Amazing Vacation

Sail Date: July 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was beautiful although not as bedecked with activity areas as some others I've been on (i.e. no rock climbing wall, putt-putt, waterslide, etc.) Also, the dining room was a bit inconvenient to get to from the lower decks. But, it was a nice sized ship and well-appointed.

Pros: the scenery

Cons: the entertainment

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
While most of the staff was quite good, no one really went above and beyond for us. Furthermore, there were a few members of the staff who were downright rude or poor performers (i.e. a drink we ordered before our meal didn't arrive until after we had finished eating and after we had to nag our server about it.) But most experiences with the staff were pleasant.
Some of the enrichment activiites were wonderful and very informative. I was happy they had a dance class besides country line dancing! The comic was quite funny but the dancers were only fair. The choreography was "eh" and they could have used some practice. All in, the nightly entertainment wasn't worth the time.
