Good cruise, poor communications

Sail Date: August 01, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

This was a beautiful cruise with fine food, attentive staff, and inviting surroundings.

Pros: Excellent food and service; very responsive crew

Cons: Very poor internet and cell phone service onboard - difficult to communicate with home and office

Recommends Sapphire Princess? Yes!

Entertainment
Surprisingly good entertainment. We were, however, very disappointed with the slow, expensive, and unreliable internet service and the lack of affordable cell phone service. In the 21st century it's important to keep in touch with home and office, something Princess Cruise Line has yet to realize.
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
We stayed in a mid-priced balcony stateroom that provided beautiful views as we sailed along the Mexican coast.
