Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

the ship is older and only holds about 1250 passenger
not of all the bells and whistles of the mega ships , but i did not mind
you could get on and off at ports within 5 minutes
no lines for food or shows
that is fine with me. the demographics skewed around about 73 years old on averge
i am in my early forties and still enjoyed myself
the crew is excellent
very quiet
very enjoyable

Pros: Good itinerary -great food - great service - very small ship

Cons: Ship was dead @ 10:30 - but we expected that going in

Recommends Ryndam? Yes!

Ship Quality
its what you make of it , its a smaller older ship, but was very clean and very easy to maneuver.public areas are not very large but there was not many people using them
Food and Dining
16th cruise, best food we ever had - tasted excellent, presentation was great as well
Cruised Carnival, Princess, and Norwegian multiple times.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stewards were awesome had an Ocean view cabin
larger than the newer ships, even had a couch.
Service and Staff
one of the best crews we ever sailed with.
Did not meet the cruise director once though, not like its a bad thing
but odd
he seemed nice though over the intercom.
