sorry to miss two ports-of-call

The second time we missed Key West, must be a jinx for us. Too many school-age children due to holiday time, won't do that again. Food excellent, presentation, service, variety. Loved the Adagio strings, also the trio in the Ocean lounge, our favorite spot. Crow's Nest would be great but too much smoke, also in the Casino so I stayed away. Cabin steward's did an excellent job daily.

Pros: the crew, they make the trip fun and carefree, wonderful attitude and attentiveness

Cons: ship is showing wear and tear overall, furniture in public lounges worn and frayed

Recommends Ryndam? Yes!

Ship Quality
see cons above. Cleanliness is fine, just a little old. Mid-size is just right.

Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemala
The indoor market next to the pier is great fun, free dancing and music going on, many vendors, nice not to travel far from the ship.
Puerto Cortes (Copan), Honduras
Banana Plantation tour was fine, great tour guides, very informative. But slow departure from ship made the shopping/ market browsing very short, not enough time to explore, no time to snack.
