Great time on the high seas

Sail Date: December 05, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

Everything was great except for slow dinner service and weak coffee. Staff was helpful, accomodating, friendly, could not ask for more. Ship was clean and hand sanitizers everywhere. People were courteous, Sandy on the Lido deck at breakfast was a delight with his coffee cart delivery and his coffee was great.

Pros: size of ship was perfect, not too big and not too small - great staff

Cons: slow service in dining room at night, waited at least 15 minutes for a cup of coffe and it was so weak it tasted like tea

Recommends Ryndam? Yes!

Ship Quality
Great, only thing I would change would be TV area in Crows Nest should not have the volume so loud that you can't hear the TV
Food and Dining
variety of food was great and very tasty except for weak coffee and I was a little disappointed with fatty beef dishes with gravy on them.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was great but I thought there would be a small stocked refrigerator. Would have been more apt to use it if it wasn't necessary to have to ask for ice.
Service and Staff
These are hard working kids, staff was GREAT and always smiling. Don't know how they function on so little sleep and still remain so upbeat. They all deserve a raise.

had a lot of fun
Belize City, Belize
Very nice young man gave us a tour by van. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, professional, good sense of humor. Was well worth the price.
Don't Miss: tour
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
shops so close to the ship were just great, very scenic view from the ship and the beach area was unique with the ski lift entry.
Don't Miss: beach area
Key West, Florida
everything was so handy, we met friends that live there and being that we live in Florida, we have been to the keys many times, love it all.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Did not go into the city but the shopping off the pier was very nice. Locals were a little pushy with trying to get you to buy their stuff but all had a sense of humor too. Some language issues and military presence was a little daunting but all in all a good experience.
