My Husbands 1st Cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2006

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Starting with breaking down while still in Tampa Bay, and again in the gulf,
which caused us to miss a port of call San Juan P.R. , that I was looking
forward to, to show my wife where I was stationed while in Army. We enjoyed
the food although it was the same as the diningroom. My husband took me to
the Pinnacle Grill for dinner for my birthday, the food and service there was
fabulous. Although it was a bit over priced.
We had a flood on board that flooded a few staterooms, 3 of 8 elevators were out of service, along with public restrooms that were occasionally out of order.
Some passengers were without A/C most of the cruise. Our cabin steward
Agung was great .
With the problems with the ship, the cruise line is only giving us a 25% credit
of what we paid for this cruise toward another cruise (BIG DEAL) Being this
was my husbands 1st cruise ,he is quite disappointed with the ship.

Pros: The Stateroom, main courses of food

Cons: Condition of ship, desserts , diningroom service and bathtub too high

Recommends Ryndam? No.
