Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We did anytime dining. The first night service was really bad but after that night everything was smooth. Food was good. We ate at Share. That is well worth the money. Service is awesome. Loved the food options. The steak was not very good but we would still go back. The buffet was a huge disappointment. Same stuff, cheap quality, and very small compared to other Princess boats. It was clean and staff made sure everyone sanatized hands before entering. The pizza is delicious! International cafe has some really good food and desert options as well.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Bingo was fun. We notice that buying the tablets you have better odds of winning. We really enjoyed voice of the ocean! The house band The Funk (something like that) was really good!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff were really good. They do there jobs well. They are friendly, there to please you, and work very hard at cleanliness.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Easy to get around. It's a smaller boat. Very clean. Main theater room needs to be more slanted so everyone can see infront of them. Always clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom is small but it worked. Television options sucked. Balcony was nice size with nice reclining chairs.

Ship tip

There is very little time allowed off board in Mexico. Plan wisely. Get to theater room at least 30 minutes before show if you want a good seat.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Toured the battleship Iowa. That's a pretty cool experience. Stayed at the Best Western in Pedro. Good place to stay. Free shuttle and much cheaper parking then cruise port. Town itself is older and kind of run down.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
I was surprised to see nothing was there. Usually you get off at a cruise boat shopping area. It was kind of nice not being bombarded by people selling stuff. However, you had to make plans on were to go instead of sticking near the cruise port. We also did an excursion. It was a lot of fun! I highly recommend it. Snorkeling and then to Yelapa. Yelapa is an older more authentic Mexican village with a nice waterfall. The guides were a lot of fun!

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
We ate at Panchos. Really good food and margaritas. Worse place was the shrimp market. Margaritas were disgusting. The have a really nice beach in front of Ponchos. Really cool seashells. Shops are all the same crap. So go to one store and you've seen it all.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Cabo is the nicer of the 3 ports. You get very little time here. You really get bombarded with sellers at this place. It's the worse of all cruises I've been to, but you can't let that get in your way of fun! They have good shopping stores. We walked to end of boardwalk and there is a nice beach. Bring dollars you pay to use restrooms there unless your at a restaurant.

Disembarkation

It was smooth and fast. They have a good system.
