First Time with Princess

Sail Date: February 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Suite

Nice friendly atmosphere\, staff for the most part was very accomodating

Pros: Kids Activities\, Outdoor Movie Screen

Cons: Specialized Restaurant Pre-Cruie Hype

Recommends Ruby Princess? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Specialty options overrated....we were only able to get into specialty restauarant once on our cruise\, every other night we called to reserve\, they told us that reservations were full\, but when we walked by those respective restaurants\, they were only half full and poorly staffed...and for a $25 per person upcharge\, one would think that they would have turned these tables as many times per evening that they could\, but this was not the scenario on our ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom staff did a fine job
Service and Staff
waitstaff and room attendant\, I would say yes\, but for bar servers around pool deck and in clubs and lounges\, that's all they reminded you to do was remember the number \"7\" when doing the survey when we got home.
Entertainment
Children's Programs
Kids Club went above and beyond to accommodate....our son went back time and again.
