Great times on the Ruby

Although this was our 28th cruise, it was our first on Princess.  We love the layout of the ship, as it is very easy to navigate.  The main theater entertainment was great, and there are many options for evening activities.  I thought the food overall was some of the best we have had at traditional dining.  Only Holland America topped the dinners we enjoyed.  The buffet for breakfast and lunch was busy, and hard to get from station to station because of the design.  We had no trouble getting chairs by the pool everyday.  We experienced fantastic service, but I think most ships provide good service.  I found the staff to be quite engaged in their job, and truly wanted each guest to have a great vacation.  The bar staff was prompt and very courteous.  Since the ports were Princess Cay and a short stop in Ocho Rios, we opted for the beverage package.  We feel it was worth it, especially since the package worked on land at Princess Cay.  Overall, a great time was had on the Ruby Princess.
