Review SummarySo my wife and I did this as our first cruise. The boat is nice and the staff is great. The issues we had though were they were doing maintenance on the rescue ships 3 mornings starting at 7am so waking up early was guaranteed. Also, half our tour group wa left by our bus at the Dolphin/Stingray Excursion so that ruined all hopes most of us had at getting back to port and hailing a group bus for a trip to Hell. That town is only a 10 minute ride, but you can't do it and the Dolphin/Stingray Swim on the same day. That's ridiculous!
Also, pictures are great, but they are $19.99 per sheet and the only package is buying two sheets and getting an album free. The problem is they take about 10 shots on formal night, the embarking photo, the setting sail photo, each time the boat enters a port photo and then various others throughout the cruise. Why can there not be some kind of package with everything? Even Disney has the Memory Maker package where you pay a flat fee of $149 and get all of your photos on a disk. That would have been great.
The food was great and plentiful. The shopping on board was OK, but the "deals" aren't that special. My cellphone had full data at sea so I could price shop. Many of the prices, even duty free were not a big deal. Just beware. All in all, we had fun, but it just felt like we were being nickel and dimed the whole trip. Maybe we were expecting too much.
