Ruby Princess Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Review Summary47 & 57 year olds. 5th Cruise. 1st time on Princess.
We didn't know what to expect, being our 1st cruise on Princess. We enjoyed it all. Embarkation was simple and fast. Easiest we have been through. So efficient.
The ship is simply the easiest to get around. The public areas are roomy and oh so pretty. I sound like a kid in a candy store but it was that good.
We had anytime dining, but ended up eating at the same table at the same time everyday. We loved the waiter. The food was spectacular. No complaints here.
We went to 1 show, loved it. Couldn't get into the crew show, so we went gambling.
The pools are roomy, although we didn't get in. The weather was a bit cool and the pools are cold. One thing they could do would be to heat the water.
Our cabin, D620 and minisuite was just right. Not too big to feel like you wasted your money and not small at all. The bathtub was so fun.
The ports, Jamaica-I can do without. We missed Grand Cayman, but we had been there the year before, so that was ok. Another SEA DAY!! YAY! Cozumel we love it there.
All in all it was a fantastic cruise on the RUBY. We sailed 11/29-12/6
Great fun, great time, will be there again. We have found a Princess home.
Pros: New ship, what is there not to like. Cabin, diningrooms, pools...
Cons: I had to get off. Honestly, the ladies rooms were small-very few stalls.
