Because of the mid-ship elevator situation, sometimes you have to take the Up elevator in order to go Down. Yes, it's ridiculous but what choice do you have? There are no stairs.

If you are going to gamble....it is fine. I only thing that I was disappointed with was the Texas Hold'em table. The dealer is a computer.

The Lotus Spa experience was a 'downer' for my wife. Although there is an automatic 15% tip added, the person providing the service asked for an additional tip, as well as, 'pushing' my wife to purchase additional beauty products(which would result in additional revenue for the service provider).

The Alegro dining room (fixed schedule seating) is reached by taking the rear elevator down to the sixth deck. It is cut off from the rest of deck six and cannot be reached by going up from a lower deck.

If you have no expectations of service then go for it. Take lots of antacids for your entire traveling party. We have all never been so bloated and sick from food...we noticed it was only though when we ate on the Lido.

If you do anytime dining, don't let them tell you to wait, check out the portside entry instead. Also they need stairs in the central elevator area as there are none, leading to amass of lines and congestion periodically in the midship elevators. on Marina deck we had noise from above

If possible use the steps rather than elevators. Just as fast and good exercise. We only used the elevator when we boarded the ship and departed at the end of the cruise. We're 80 and 85 and unless your physically unable it's the way to go. Felt healthier at the end of the trip and lost 1 lb.

It is a large ship but an excellent ship and easy to get aroung. It was a great cruise except for the limited choices in the dining room.

In some cases you needed reservations. If you travel as a couple I would advise sharing an 8 top table for dinner. You will me

If there is a show you particularly want to see, arrive early to get a good seat, particularly if there are only two shows. Theater is small. Plan on waiting for elevators.

The Emerald did not have any midship stairs so you had to take the elevator. It would be nice to have stairs on that floor.

Had to wait on the elevators a lot. Can't walk the hold ship from front to back without using a elevator or stairs.

Sail a different cruise line if you expect quality customer service! Returned on December 20, 2016..... have yet to hear back from customer service after several phone calls which they would not connect you to somebody but insisted you email. Several emails sent and still no reponse!

Princess needs to work on their Anytime dining program. Your best bet is to schedule a time to dine. My companion likes to work dinner around the shows so we don't always dine at the same time every night.
