Review summary

As always, Princess has met and exceeded our expectations...Staff with their attentiveness is certainly a big part of our accolades. However, because of our Elite status, having our laundry washed (or dry cleaned), 500 free minutes of internet, our mini-bar filled (free), being invited to the officer's cocktail party, and being invited to a very special luncheon with the officers & Captain as one of the most traveled passengers, also contributed greatly to our experience.

Ship tip

The Lotus Spa experience was a 'downer' for my wife. Although there is an automatic 15% tip added, the person providing the service asked for an additional tip, as well as, 'pushing' my wife to purchase additional beauty products(which would result in additional revenue for the service provider).

nice, it took us about 3 1/2 hours to board because it was the first time the royal was back in the states for 6 months I was told. I was also told that all the employees had to get off the ship and go through customs and coast guard had to board the ship and check it out. After that is was a perfect trip.

It is nice to have the free laundry service and Internet. And we boarded the ship in ft Lauderdale in record time. Skipping the long lines. We were at the pizzeria by 1130am

Cool we were on that same vruise you took the one before you. We had a great time also, and we also missed princess cays be cause of weather.. That was my wife's my 16 crusie. it was nice to be elite status for the first time

Yup, still in Ft Lauderdale. My 17th cruise with Princess and I thank god this cruise was a good one. Last few Princess cruises were bum. Great ship, good food, and the ports were great, skipped Princess cays due to weather. Passengers were very friendly, especially to our 14month old daughter who loved all the attention. We already booked 3/3.
