Pleasantly surprised

Sail Date: December 01, 2013

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Not usually a fan of large ships but we felt they did a good job and it did not feel crowded.

Pros: good outside areas and in demand movies in room

Cons: no wraparound promenade deck

Recommends Royal Princess? No.

Ship Quality
Took a little while to figure out the best routes as there are some dead ends but overall the ship was pretty\, clean and easy to get around
Food and Dining
anytime dining was good as we could get a table for two with no wait at 7:30 or 8. Buffet took some exploring to figure out but then was fine and tables always available. Felt the dinner on buffet could have had better variety. Some ships offer similar items to dining room on the buffet but they did not.
Cabin / Stateroom
inside cabin had more storage and closet space than most and loved the on demand movies. Only negative was no sofa which we have had on other ships
Service and Staff
very friendly
Entertainment
the usual offerings and they were fine. Good bands. Shops very lacking in variety for a ship of this size
