We have been on a number of Princess cruises and have always spent the money on the specialty dining venues, but while we intend to continue to cruise Princess, we will skip the specialty dining up charge—it simply is not worth the extra charge. For $29 each on top of already having paid for a main dining room meal, I would expect the specialty dining to be significantly superior and it is not. Save your money doe a special bottle of wine you can enjoy over two nights.
