Review Summary

The highlight of our trip was the Panama Canal, which everyone should experience! The Dole banana plant tour was very interesting. The tour guide, from Swiss Tours, was excellent. I guess my husband would have to say catching a 6-foot sailfish on the Cozumel fishing trip, was the highlight of the trip for him. The Royal Princess was great. Bryan Price was, by far, the best cruise director we have ever had and made the cruise our best. The food was excellent and the dining crew was great. The swimming pools were too crowded and it was hard to get a deck chair. Most people put their towel on chairs and held them for the entire day. We were never lucky enough to get a chair. Tipping in the cruise brochure stated $10.00 a day per person, but this was not correct. It still is $3.50 per person, per day, for the cabin steward and the waiter and $2.00 a day for the bus boy. There were envelopes avaiable for this purpose. I was very greatful for the two Catholic priests who said Mass and had services for Holy Week. This was a great big plus for the ship.Great trip. The two couples that we shared our dinner table with were great company and very friendly. All in all, a great experience. Princess Cruises gave a tote bag to passengers who book the cruise through them. Travel agents maybe should have the same token, as it would be a nice gesture. Ron & Maureen, FL
