A wonderful experience

Sail Date: July 24, 2010

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

Overall, we had a wonderful 7-day cruise with our Lanai room being the most enjoyable with a great view. There were 18 people in our group and most everyone felt this same way. The ship was kept spotless clean and the buffett areas very clean with minimal contamination potential because the food was served by the staff rather than passengers helping themselves.

Pros: Cabin, services, entertainment, buffet food, smooth sailing

Cons: Indian vegetarian food served in Le Fontaine - sitdown dinners

Recommends Rotterdam? Yes!

Food and Dining
Buffett food was found to be better than our sitdown Indian vegetarian food in Le Fontain room. Robert, the person in charge of this, tried his best to work with the Indian cooks to provide good Indian food but it was not the best..
Some of the programs were good but not great. Many of the songs are somewhat dated but we were impressed with the stage management and quick costume changes and set changes.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
The cleaning crew were superb.
Service and Staff
Everyone was fantastic and very friendly.
