We highly recommend the Rotterdam. The size of the ship is perfect the bars and lounges are never packed. The music is wonderful. Small amount of shopping. Most wonderful kind servers

The Rotterdam is a nice size smaller ship that does not feel crowded and is easy to get around. The entertainment and lectures were very good. The service and the people serving are wonderful. A wonderful cruise line for more mature travelers.

passengers are mostly seniors. cafeteria was not busy most of the time. dinner took somewhat long. Lido restaurant was good( tried 2 times), good crews, poor entertainment (we seen the same BBC film four times), talks on Mexico was excellent, however panama canal talk was not good, should be there more lectures besides videos. we tipped more than $100 to crews, seems they expect it, good or bad???

is not the best company to work with and the agent Rob Terrell really could care less about you once he sells you a cruise. I have now left FIVE messages for him with NO response at all. Sad.

Many of our issues had to do with the computer thinking we were someone else. We got an envelope stating we had a free internet package After going right down to guest services we found out in fact it was for someone else. I ordered the Romantic Voyage package as a surprise for my wife, and had no flowers, no chocolate covered strawberries in our cabin on arrival. I had to talk to the concierge many times to get all of the other amenities that come with the package. As we were getting off this ship, a life boat drill for the crew started, which meant all elevators were shut down. We had to walk down 9 flights of stairs. I walk with a cane so it was very difficult for me. My wife ordered pancakes for in room dining one morning and they said that they could not get them due to the griddle in the lido was closed down. I went to the lido and they made them for me...why could we not get them through room service? There were a number of "brown outs" during the last few days of this cruise. We also found out that the ship was mandated to go through an FDA inspection while in San Diego. This is just a very short list of the many, many things that did not go well on this ship. I will have to think long and hard before booking another HAL cruise.

Overall, we had a great time. The Panama Canal experience was amazing! Wish Holland would upgrade entertainment again. The suite was comfortable, and staff/service was great!

Extremely relaxing and very enjoyable. One thing that I found to be a little troublesome especially for senior citizens was at the airport in Rome. You land at one end of the airport and you must walk one half a mile to get a train to take you to get your luggage, then when you get off the train you must walk another mile for the luggage carousel. No transportation in airport to shuffle people around.

I don't think my booking on Holland America Rotterdam is worth the money that we paid given the poor condition of the bathroom.

Over all trip was fabulous. I do have a complaint on the nail service I received. There is a 14 day chipping guarantee. My nails began to chip on day 2. I would not have mentioned this, but 6 days later 4 of my nails are chipping. I would like to discuss a refund for on this service.

the cruise worked for us with my husband's physical limitations. Great room and placement on the ship and near elevators. Staff extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They made the cruise ..special!

Very enjoyable...it was made so by the good service of all members of the crew. It did cater to an older clientele.

Embarkation/debarkation fast n easy; vista suite very nice; bars were great with no long waits; MDR very good and on point; Pizza bar best on boat so far; Lido buffet quite good, no trouble finding seats; no chair hogging on deck 8 aft pool area; Canaletto mediocre; Pinnacle Grill was spectacular food and service; great room stewards; not alot for kids to do but that's great so there isn't many kids. Great boat for relaxing and reconnecting with significant other. WONDERFUL VACATION OVERALL!!!

Good but look around first. Good value, slipping on the dinning room. not much entertainment or activities, no art auction

I have told at least 40 people already about our trip on the cruise 🚢. I am guessing that they got the picture and want to try it.

We loved the cruise culture that Holland America provided. My small family were able to relax and have a calm and enjoyable time together. Plenty of interests available to all of us. Wonderful wonderful cruise line and the destinations were fantastic! Unforgettable experience. The cruise ship decks were just beautiful day and night.

This cruise is all about the money. Our first 2 cerise's were excellent. Since then it has been all down hill. I wish I picked a different cruise line. From now on I will stick with Viking cruises. They treat you with respect, not after your money.

Great ship and crew! The meals were well prepared and tasty. Shop was well maintained.....

This was a work cruise for me and I got a lot of work done.

We had a wonderful time. Hope you get wulan and Patrick for room stewards. The staff at the sea view bar phenomenal. Say hi to Kevin and ya ya. Definitely do the bar hop night. Was so much fun
