Review summary

I’m a frequent cruiser and this was my first Holland America cruise. This cruise caters to a much older passenger and if I had realized this before I probably would not have booked it. Very few lively activities onboard and food was not as good as I expected.

The guest magician and comedian were great. The musical act in the main stage was talented but the show was terrible, made no sense, had no flow. We did not attend second show as a result

Despite age of this ship it was very well maintained and clean so she was never a concern or issue

If you really want to do nothing but veg out by the pool this might work for you b.

Before you book next trip do some research on what each brand specializes in. It's fun to ask tour agents about tailored cruises too. Adventure, foodie, intrepid adventure or honeymoon relax styles. Once you gauge what each brand does, you will not be disappointed..
