The food was just ok. There was always something missing or wrong. It was like an army chow line.

Lido Restaurant

The selection is good. They have German, English, and American breakfasts. You can get waffles, pancakes, or just bacon and eggs. I felt that the food was just not as good as going to someplace like Bob Evans.

Onboard Activities

Probably the most fun thing onboard was the pub crawl on day 5. It was a bit rushed. Went to 4 bars in 45 minutes. Should have been longer.

The basketball court is directly above the dining area and it is sometimes very noisy while dining.

Very commercial. Not indicative of the real Honduras. It was all built for Carnival Cruise lines. The even have a Harley Davidson store.

Took the trolley through town. It is a very depressed area. Wouldn't feel safe walking the streets. Nothing else to do.

Nice to hear that you had a nice time on the Holland American ship and maybe even ports. Couple other reviews did not really give it a good review. In 4 days I will know what it's like because we will be on the Rotterdam having fun with great friends.
