Review summary

Ports of call were great (except for Morocco), and the ship Ms Rotterdam was quite comfortable. The staff was amazing (as usual) and the food was top notch. There were enough excursions to satisfy most passengers. The weather was surprisingly fabulous for us at this time of the year - only a few days of rain near the tail end.

I took the excursion to Marrakech (3.5hr drive from Casablanca) and sadly the drive was the best part. The vendors were so aggressive. With all the security with us, it made us feel unsafe. We were told not to buy from the street vendors and were taken to a "preferred vendor" who only had large expensive items -- we just wanted small souvenirs, so that was a waste. HAS should look at a different port of call. Feedback from those who stayed in Casablanca was also negative.

Highlights: Malta was gorgeous, Gaudi in Barcelona was amazing, Amalfi coast was stunning, Athens was a sight to see, and Pisa was such wonderful shenanigans! Great trip!

Entertainment

The Rotterdam singers and dancers had to endure foolish programs. You could tell that they didn't understand the concepts. All the shows were mediocre at best. BB King Blues band was amazing! Guest performers (Comedians) were great. Could stand for less magicians though. Also need to play some updated music. Not all of us on-board are 70+ years old!!!

They just dropped us off in Pisa for free time - no guide, no history.
