Hey friends,

Just a little about our Alaskan cruise.
The food for breakfast at the buffet was delightful. I had fresh fruit and an omlet every morning. The dining for evening was totally gourmet and tasty. The snack bars had delicious coffee, tea, burgers, pizza and ever flowing frosties. We loved it. We met some really nice people. Our crew singers and dancers were professional and wonderful. The comedians and gauchos were FUNNY!. One night they imitated the Village people performing YMCA.Wild! We played a little ping pong. Our waiter and room attendant were delights. The waiter Bing and Morgan were from the Philippians. Morgan made a man for my bed and one setting on the toilet made out of towels and a monkey hung from the ceiling. Bing had a tooth pick puzzle every night. And they were fun. The Activity directors were fun and up beat. There were line dance and Latin dance classes, bingo, trivia games. We watched and played. The Newly wed game and scavenger hunt were for adults only, but funny. They put them on our TV the next day. Movies too. I watched the rock climbers at the back of the ship. Scary. We had ruff seas a few nights several people were sick. One night we watched the pool slosh buckets of water on deck. They had one out door and one indoor by the spa. I listened to experts talk about skin care, metabolism and acupuncture. I won a free session, just got a head ache out of it, I swam in the heated salt water pool on deck. and sat in the hot tub a couple nights when no one was around. NICE, There were 1,900 people on board. It did not seem crowded. Terry did a little gambling and paid to much for bud light. The ship was floating art gallery with unique sculptures in the stairwells and colorful paintings. Our excursions were in 2 small Alaskan towns and Victoria BC. We visited a glacier and Beautiful gardens. One rain forest a guy turned trees upside down and planted the roots full of flowers. The train ride up White Pass had an interesting story about the gold rush. Just a little over priced for a train ride. If you go take the van. The weather was beautiful and no snow on White Pass this time of year. Some people saw bears, whales and eagles. We saw a few albacore tuna splashing one evening at dinner.
It was fun next cruise 2019 to Mediterranean. Cant wait.

Pros: people and food

Cons: beer prices
