This was our sixth cruise, two on RC; Grandeur of the Seas and this last one on Rhapsody of the Seas. Both wonderful ships, kept up very well. The service was top notch. I can't praise the overall experience enough. However, the port facilities at Galveston need a great deal of attention. The long term parking situation for first-timers is confusing and the shuttle service is below standard for a quality cruiseline like RC. Port personnel had few answers when called on for tips or help. A good model to emmulate would be the cruise facility at Baltimore. Those folks have their act together, excellent. We found that there were too many unruly and unsupervised children running about the ship at all hours, especially after ten in the evening. The ship's 1AM curfew simply does not cut it. However, aside the few negatives, once onboard we had a great experience.
