Review Summary

the weather was mostly good 70-80 every day.we had a couple of windy days that had the ship rocking pretty good towards the end of the cruise.in the beginning it sailed like a hot knife  thru butter.the staff were wonderful and they had a good mix-up of food.we tried the 2 pay restaurants that were very much worth the money.the couple of drawbacks were 1. no middle staircase or elevators.we were on the 8th floor.we could only walk up to the 7th then we had to walk to the front or the back of the ship to get back to the mid-ship as was our room.i think it was poorly designed, especially for a brand new ship.most other ships including princess have mid steps and elevators.by the way ,the elevators would constantly go by us,wether you were going up or down.this was a big complaint by many many many people.one time we waited 11 minutes for an elevator.the balcony seemed especially small also.you couldn't put the chair to face the ocean and sit comfortably, you had to face each other and turn sideways.we think the bathroom was even smaller(if that's possible) we were just disappointed because it is a new ship and we expected it to be as nice as some of the other princess ships if not nicer.we won't go on the REGAL or the ROYAL again.
