Review summary

This was a perfect trip.  Princess's new slogan lives up to its word.  This ship has everything--largest screen (w/movies and concerts going all day) on deck, pools, hot tubs, walkway with glass bottom, theaters, bars, night club, pastry shop, gelato shop, soft serve, buffet, dining rooms, restaurants, and a fantastic crew.  Came back with 4 extra pounds, but lost all of my stress.  Only excursion that we took was in Costa Maya.  Went with an suggestion rather than a Princess and it was amazing.  Native Tours to Chacchoban; small groups with knowledgeable guides.  I would take this cruise again in a heartbeat.  Worth every penny.

Actually did not stay in E306; was upgraded when we went to check in to C437--not obstructed. Absolutely wonderful; balcony had two deck chairs and table; wall is see through.

Ship tip

Ship is very big, so elevators could take a while (too full). But, no problems finding deck chairs for the movies and no waiting for food/drinks.

Only used airport. TIP--cannot check in until 3 hours prior to flight, so you are stuck with your bags until them. Airport is too small for crowds. Do yourself a favor and let cruise line do your baggage for you. Worth the small fee.

Bring cash if you want to buy from locals; otherwise, use your cruise card. Princess puts out a nice array of fresh cut fruit along the pathways, so you're never far from some refreshment.

Go native! Walk from pier to Native Tours should NOT stop you from using these guys. They are the best.

If you are a chocolate fan, get ready. There is chocolate manufacturing on the island and it will ruin you for the mediocre. Also, bring good shoulder bag for shopping and comfortable walking shoes.
