Loved it, but nothing for young children

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Balcony

My wife, 1-year-old daughter, and I just got back from this cruise.  This was our first cruise, and we absolutely loved it.  We'd give the ship/amenities an "A", service an "A", entertainment an "A", and food a "B" (we mostly ate at the buffet -- we've been told it's better than most cruise lines, but we still thought it was just ok).

The one area where we think Princess could do much better is providing something for young children (under 3), especially given that they're charged the same fare as an adult.  There were no set activities and no babysitters (even if we were willing to pay extra).  At the very least, they could have organized group playdates for parents with young children -- instead, we just met a few randomly on the ship.

Overall, we loved the experience, and we're already talking about our next cruise.  But next time we may investigate whether other cruises care more about their youngest guests.

Cabin / Stateroom
A little smaller than expected, and we could still feel some engine vibrations on Deck 9. But overall it was quite nice.
