Great Ship

Sail Date: April 05, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Ship is fantastic.  Crew experience depends heavily on which cabin steward and waitress you have.  Ours were great.  We just relaxed and didn't do a lot of excursions or activities, but new ship was clean and beautiful.  Video on Demand was great but a little glitchy.

Ship Quality
New, Clean, Well Maintained, Very Few Bugs
Food and Dining
Lot of buffet choices on this big a ship, and formal dining was very good to excellent. Didn't do any upcharge dining because I'm cheap.
Service and Staff
Ileana and AJ were great. Rest good. One or two poor.
Entertainment
Great if you really like musicals. OK if you prefer comedians. Lots of movies under the stars, but not enough seating for the bigger attractions.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Getting on and off way better than experience we had in Tampa with Carnival.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Just overpriced jewelry, junk, and aggressive vendors that all want cash. Nothing to see but main street with shops.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Just overpriced jewelry, junk, and aggressive vendors that all want cash. Nothing to see but main street with shops.
