How to ruin a cruise

Sail Date: June 01, 2007

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was unusual, unusually depressing. The ship layout was not pleasant. The library was buried below deck in a vault like small room slightly larger than a stateroom. On Hol Amer ships there was a large library overlooking the starboard side with beautiful ocean view, and a lounge overlooking the bow with large windows where many could enjoy a drink whle cruising. The gym was large with large windows to observe the ocean cruising by. The gym on the Regal Princess, on the other hand, was a small claustrophobic, smelly, poorly equipped alternative. This Princess ship had a rather small bow lounge with small obstructed windows. Very unpleasant. It really is a terrible ship and soon goes away to P&O Line, but if this is "Princess Cruises"--never again!

Pros: A cruise to Midway Island

Cons: A terrible ship

Recommends Regal Princess (RETIRED) 180? No.
