A Cruise to Alaska

Sail Date: August 04, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was older and toilets didn't flush properly in my room. There was no card room.

Pros: The room and room service was excellent

Cons: The ports of call

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
They took my request for early dining and gave us the late dinner seating. Since the service was slow , we ended up missing most of the evening entertainment. The crew was pleasant buy not accommodating
Cabin / Stateroom
Toilets didn't flush at times
Sitka, Alaska
The Mendenhall Glacier a must see. The cannery was interesting too.

This was a waste of time. Booked a tour and could have seen it all for $1.oo shuttle price
Victoria, British Columbia
All of it was great
Juneau, Alaska
They gave us a total of 4 hours in this port so no time to review
