Embarkation in San Juan was excellent, as was baggage handling. After checking in we viewed our excellent room on deck 9 with balcony. We then left the ship and walked around "Old San Juan" for an hour and walked back to the ship to meet another couple who we talked into taking this cruise. They joined us from Boulder, Colorado, and were booked in a balcony suite suite, but two weeks before the cruise their agent from American Express told them they would not have a balcony. They stayed 2 nights at the Radisson Hotel San Juan before the cruise and had a bad experience with the hotel. We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton post cruise and had a wonderful time. The cruise got off on time, and we all had a great time.
