Just returned from a short cruise on Radiance of The Seas. It was celebration of my mom's 91st birthday. Very friendly staff, especially the dining room staff. Rowena our waitress and her assistant Elizabeth addressed us by our names, remembered personal likes and dislikes. Excellent and attentive service. Great celebration for mom!

We enjoyed everything,the food, the whole staff and the ship was the right size for getting around especialy for some of our adult children who had never cruised before.

This Ship is a nice ship you could tell it was a cruise ship for Alaska the sides of the ship had windows so you could see out at everything you passed the service wasnt the best I had but they did a good job. The stateroom I had was a little smaller then I'm use to but it was clean. It was a nice cruise for the price I paid.

RADIANCE, JEWEL etc.are teh best sized and styled ships in RCCL's fleet, in our opinion. Big enough for a great ride, and lots of things to do. Staff has ALWAYS been top notch. Yes, we have sailed on many RCCL ships, but RADIANCE class we just love, be it all the glass, artwork,elevators facing both ocean and Centrum, and REAL head waiters at your service. Wish they had one up here in Jacksonville, FL !!!!

My husband and I truly enjoyed this cruise for all of the varied activities including the shows in the evening. We found wonderful restful and quiet times with cool breezes on the 12th deck. I had a spa facial which was the best I have ever had and my husband really enjoyed the massage.

Just completed a seven night cruise of the Southern Caribbean on this ship. The crew were all excellent - the Captain on this ship understands how to run a happy ship. The food was, as usual, excellent - we ate in the main dining room most nights and the chef's specials were truly scrumtious. We ate in the Cjops Grill one niht with our free dinner from American Airlines and it was almost as good as the best steak houses on land - but here the service was outstanding - and where else can you eat a fabulous steak with a window table right on the water watching the sun setting below the horizon. We enjoyed our time on board so much we actually found ourselves wanting to return to the ship early on many days.

The ship was beautiful. Excellent condition, tons of glass and open space. Easy to get around. The elevators were crowded during the busy hours, but I expected that. It was my first cruise and I was very impressed.

restaurant service was excellence

This was our second trip to Alaska (first on RC) and we knew what to expect but it was even better than the first time. From the moment we boarded the ship it was a very enjoyable experience. I had always heard that RC was for the younger crowd and it was very evident once we boarded the ship. Our last cruise to Alaska on Princess I think my wife's 80 year old father was one of the younger people on board. Everyone on this ship was friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and at ease. The dining room staff on this cruise was the best we have encountered in our short (4 cruises) cruise experience. Our waiter (Sayed) the assistant waiter (Maurice) and bar waiter (Tash) were nothing but professional and at the same time made you feel like one of the family. I don't think we will ever have a team of waiters take care of us the way these men did. If you are ever on the Radiance of the Seas ask if Sayed is there and if you can get in his section you will not regret it. The only complaint about the ship was from my wife about the lack of onboard shops. For that I would like to thank RC. She did make up for it in every port. I would also recommend for anyone that is doing Alaska to get rooms on the back of the ship. The view is spectacular and you aren't just seeing it from one side of the ship. When we left Hubbard Glacier it was the highlight of the trip. What a spectacular view. This was a trip we will not soon forget and RC was a big part of it.

Loved the food, type of off boat activities, cleaniness, but the customer service won us over to take another Alaskan Cruise

We had been on the Radiance of the Seas before and found it a great ship to cuise on again. The dining staff was exceptional this time, but we've always enjoyed the service in the dining room.

Recently returned from an 11 day cruise on the Radiance of the Seas to the Mexican Riviera. Very impressed with the overall decor, entertainment was the best I had seen in a long time, staff friendly and helpful and the food was excellent - especially Portofino's restaurant. Lots to do while cruising - the ship never felt crowded. On the days of tender we were executed quickly and efficiently. Enjoyed all the port stops ....... lots to see and do. Would definately recommend this ship and this trip. Thank you to all the service personal on board that made our trip most enjoyable.

We just completed our Mexican Riveria cruise on the Radiance of the Seas and what a great time we had. Wonderful staff made the whole experience one we'll never forget. Our bed was made every time we went back into our room, our head waiter,waiter and assistant waiter were so attentive I'm going through withdrawls! The ship was clean and there was plenty of activity everyday. The ports were fun and the captain made sure we were informed of all that was going on to ensure a safe and fun time on shore. We would diffently travel "The Radiance" again.

I have been on numerous cruises and this has to be the most enjoyable of all. Although there were a number of children on board (spring vacation), the staff kept them entertained. I found the crew exceptional. This is one ship I would highly recommend to anyone.

Radiance was older than my first experience on the Seranade, and it showed. Stateroom areas, like mine on the 8th floor, smelled musty. Not as 'elegant.'

We went on this ship out of San Diego in October 2009. It was our first RRCL cruise and we were very impressed. The ship was very modern -- staff were great -- we even took a tour in Mexico, which we never do on a cruise -- we had a blast! Our cabin was fabulous -- very comfortable. We were not overly impressed with the evening shows. They did the main show once a night and it was hard to get an idea of the show schedule.

We took this cruise as a combination birthday and anniversary celebration ( 40 years). It lived up to all our expectations. Great ship, wonderful people, good ports of call, excellent food.

I was a bit skeptic on the Mexican Riveria. However, I was very impressed. We stopped in so many places. Although they seemed to be the same, they each had it's own unique atmosphere. I would do this trip again.
