I like the smaller portions so I can eat 4 courses and not be stuffed. Leaves room to enjoy things like afternoon tea and a snack after the theatre. But my husband just asks for 2 meals if he thinks it will be small or likes 2 things. There is always more food to he had. The table next to us always had a big bowl of chips. Regardless off what they ordered. It was like standard. So one day I had chips also. Never a shortage of food. Guess you just need to know you can ask for more.

Agree with Staff Captain. Cunard serves appropriate and healthy portions, and will serve you more if requested or dissatisfied. One could also graze at the buffet, or cruise on a white boat. Obesity is epidemic and avoidable.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. I see many complaints about portion sizes on the food. Ships generally serve the recommended portion sizes, but most have become accustomed to eating 2-3 times the recommended amounts.
