Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The experience was exceptional for us\, but this was a first cruise and we have nothing to compare it to. The crew were exceptional and the food was good. The extra $50-$100 for wine at dinner each night was a surprise. It would have been interesting to have an opportunity to speak with the ship's officers. The \"relaxed\" dress code also allowed people in jeans into the Queens Grill\, also a surprise.

Pros: Relaxed atmposphere

Cons: Not as upscale as advertised.

Recommends Queen Mary 2? Yes!

Dances\, Balls\, etc. all take place rather late for some of us\, not starting until approximately 10PM. Lectures were throughout the day\, but the only activities I noticed were a pool and shuffleboard.
Service and Staff
The crew were perfect.
Cabin / Stateroom
Everything was lovely\, spacious\, bright and well cared for.
Food and Dining
Ship Quality
Every area of the was well maintained and interestingly decorated. The size of the ship is a bit overwhelming\, but everything is well marked.
