The service onboard was top notch. However, Cunard is no longer what it once was - there is a charge for everything and every purchase includes an automatic 15% gratuity. Plus, the cabins need some maintenance and other areas of the ship look aged.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Completely unimpressed with the food. It was nothing special and one night my fish entree was inedible - dry and overcooked. However, the kitchen did take steps to address dietary restrictions. The sparkling wine that came with the cabin was terrible - Cunard can do better.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The lectures were interesting and the evening shows were well done and entertaining. I was not impressed with the Planetarium - boring show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff if very friendly and willing to help. Kitchen was very acommodating with dietary restrictions.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Our voyage was sold out but at no time did I feel the ship was overcrowded or too busy.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
No bathtub and the bathroom is tiny. Bathrobes were plush and fluffy which was nice. Unfortunately, the cabin was not cleaned very well. Dirty glasses were left in the room for days. There was a smudge on the vanity mirror that remained the entire voyage. The nightstand was falling apart (literally) and the cabinet doors in the bathroom needed to be realigned.

Pros: Service

Cons: Cabin bathroom, Nickel and Diming

Recommends Queen Mary 2? Yes!
