Wonderful experience!

Sail Date: May 01, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were in a Britannia Club room on Deck 12, which is the basic balcony stateroom with a few extra perks, with dining during any open hours in the Britannia Club dining room. The whole experience exceeded expectations. The ship was spotless, the staff attentive, and the food excellent with lots of choices. For such a large ship, it was surprisingly easy to get around, and it (almost) never felt crowded. We loved the glass elevators at the bow that run between the Promenade Deck (7) and Observation Deck (11), with stops at the Library, Atlantic Room and Commodore Club. We found sheltered spots with deck chairs, just aft of the life boats on the Promenade Deck, and enjoyed just relaxing by the sea. There was lots to do when we wanted to do things, but it's a perfect place to just unwind and do nothing.

Pros: Stateroom, dining companions, staff, etc.

Cons: Long line for landing cards in Boston
