Great Mega-Liner

Sail Date: November 01, 2005

Reviewed: 11 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

We have sailed several times on QM2 and find it and its crew to be of very high quality in all respects. Take either a trans-Atlantic crossing or a warm-weather cruise: this ship will not disappoint.

Pros: Good suites, good food, good crew

Ship Quality
This is nearly the perfect mesh of Liner and cruise ship, and a beautiful rendition in modern materials of a classic liner.
Children's Programs
Although there is plenty for children to do on QM2, please do others favour by leaving children at home.
Food and Dining
Grill dining is superb, and the main dining room for most people is beautiful and reminds on of the original Queen Mary first class dining room. For the anxious crowd there is the usual buffet line and 24 hr room service.
Cabin / Stateroom
QM2 has really outdone the competition with a great ship and high quality cabins and suites. Even the small cabins are larger than most on any other ship, and the suites are superb. Butler service is a great thing.
Service and Staff
Friendly, professional, and knowledgable.
Shows are very professional and well attended. Even the officers go to see the shows.
