Review summary

This is the 3rd time I have sailed on the Prinsendam,and I think it will be the last.The ship is still very nice, but I can see cutbacks everywhere, mostly in the dinning room.The service was terrible,very long wait for waiters to come around,very long wait for food to be brought out, none of the food was hot, always tepid & the menu was just ok,nothing to rave about,Bread was very good,deserts were poor.

I was just not impressed

So happy to hear this. The ship is such a good size to get into places the others can't but it really needed help. This ship was not built by HAL as they purchased it from another cruise liner so it really needs some HAL touches that we have all come to love and expect. Thanks for the update:)

I understand ship is in Dry Dock and is beinging refurbished for May 16th sailing. Hope all complaints are addressed and will no longer be an issue.

I have to agree! I was on this ship June 3rd for 14 days and was so disappointed .. Considering the price is more than other cruises my expectations were pretty high. The Lido deck wait staff was great but food choices were sub-par. Stopped using the dining room due to it being so slow .. We loved our room and it's the only ship that has a walkin closets.. Back to HAL big ships!
