WORST CRUISE EVER!!!
Pride of Hawaii Cruise Review to Hawaii

Review SummaryThis is by far the worst cruise experience you could ever have!! Do NOT book this cruise!
I should have known something was up when you had to sanitize your hands every time you boarded, debarked, or headed into a dining area.
When we boarded we had to wait 2 hours before our room was ready. Imagine lugging your luggage around the ship for 2 hours while waiting! Our first night at the buffet was a forgettable experience. The service stations were wrapped in saran wrap, and guests were not allowed to serve themselves, which made for unbelievably long lines. And when asked why, we received 5 different answers from 5 diff. staff members. Root cause still unknown, but what a hassle! The lines were long and the service was slow. The food was worse than your high school cafeteria, with the exception of Cagney's and Teppenyaki's. The staff was most unhelpful. I have never been told "NO" so many times when I requested something as I did on this cruise. And most staff seem unwilling to go the extra mile to get you what you may need. The bar staff was great (Sake Bar & Whiskey Bar) - but they were the only ones! One of the crew even told us the Pride of Aloha was a better ship. Room service was just so so. And if you didn't feel like standing in line at the buffet, don't try to order room service - it was out of service for most of our cruise. And if you didn't make your reservations for dinner immediately once boarding, you were just out of luck to eat at the better restaurants. Our room was never cleaned by 6 pm each night. And getting fresh towels was like pulling teeth. If you have booked this cruise - make sure before you leave the ship to have all of your service charges removed from your final bill!
While on cruise - we saw the Holland America ship "The Zaandam" and it basically went to the exact same ports - If I were you, try booking that cruise instead to see the Hawaiian Islands - in the end, you'll be glad you did.
