Pride of Hawaii Cruise Review to Hawaii
Ship: Pride of Hawaii
Cabin Type: Suite
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 10 years ago
Review SummaryI was completely dissatisfied with my cruising experience on the Pride of Hawaii. Our suite was not vacuumed during our week's stay, nor was the tub or toilet cleaned. The toothbrush holder was dirty from the previous occupants. The steward and butler staff were sloppy and the butler was usually no where to be seen. Service was slow and inefficient. The food, except in Le Bistro and Cagney's, was tasteless and the servers were generally unfriendly and lazy, along with some having an 'attitude.'
My husband and I thought the community areas of the ship were not cleaned properly, including the elevators and the mirrors inside them! Some of the chairs in the Buffet dining area had dried food on them from previous diners.
The decor was generally tasteless and very glitzy and cheap.
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
The spa was good, although it did lack some of the basic amenities other spas have, such as hand lotions and hair dryers. The massage therapist was excellent.
Cabin / Stateroom
Pros: The golf program and golf pro, Chris. The spa was good.
Cons: The food, service, cleanliness of room and ship, staff inattentiveness, lethargic restaurant servers (even rude at times)
