Wonderful Intinerary, Horrible service

Review SummaryWe found service to be the biggest complaint of ours. We had to beg for clean towels in our stateroom, we had to clear our own table at the buffet, the ship had ten restaurants but only three of them were included in the "freestyle" dinning, you had to pay a cover charge for the 7 other restaurants. We found a dinner reservation very difficult to get and when we did manage to get one we had to wait 45 mins for our table. We ate one night in a premium restaurant and it was very good, worth the $15 cover charge per person, service was good there. We thought the shows were excellent. There was not much to do during the day but the ship was in port each day so it wasn't really a problem. The staff was very friendly and hard working but obviously overworked and the ship was severely understaffed. Our cabin steward told us she was caring for 20 rooms that is why she could not make our room up until 5pm. This was a problem for us as we had no clean towels for a shower for dinner. Overall, the itinerary was fabulous but if you are expecting a typical cruise with great service you will be disappointed!
