Overall a good cruise!

Sail Date: July 30, 2007

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

Overall, we had a great time, there were only a couple of things that could have been better, such as the "hot" food on the buffet was always cold and the flight arrangements were terrible, You have to leave the ship by 10 am and our flight home was not until 9:30 pm, makes a very long day of waiting even if you take a tour on the last day, we still had over six hours of waiting at the airport, so the flight home was terrible, in all almost 30 hrs to take a 10 hr flight. We participated in the "Easy Fly" program and were given the wrong boarding passes and the crew member on the ship was very rude when we expressed our concerns over whether our bags were being sent to the correct place. But overall it was good. Would not travel with NCL America again. Have used other cruise lines that we liked alot more.

Pros: Value and the ship was clean

Cons: Cold food on buffet that should have been hot!!!

Recommends Pride of Hawaii (RETIRED)? Yes!

Kahului, Maui
Great shopping
Nawiliwili, Kauai
Also was great that things were within walking distance of the ship. Also has great shopping.
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Was great that the town was right there at port. Had a great little beach right there also.
Hilo, Hawaii
We went to Volcano National Park and Rainbow Falls, everything was very nice, our Tour Guide was great, he was very knowledgeable. His name is Henry. The only thing that could be better, is more time to spend at the sights.
